SDF arrests 4 ISIS militants in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT), of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), conducted two security operations against Islamic State (ISIS) cells in the town of Shuhail, in the southern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria, arresting four ISIS militants.

In cooperation with the US-led Global Coalition, “our forces successfully apprehended four terrorists who were involved in smuggling and supplying the ISIS terrorist cells with weapons and ammunition, in addition to preparing the IEDs,” the SDF Media Center reported.

The YAT forces confiscated one AK-47 rifle, two grenades, one IED, eight smartphones, one mobile phone, one laptop,  two Wi-Fi Reuter, personal IDs, and military equipment.”

On Oct. 15, YAT forces and the Global Coalition arrested seven ISIS militants in Shuhail.
