Two government soldiers wounded in Israeli airstrikes on Deir ez-Zor city
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Two soldiers of Syrian government forces were wounded on Monday evening in an Israeli air raid in the vicinity of the city of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, state-run SANA news agency said.
SANA cited a military source as saying that at 11:50 pm on Monday Israeli airstrikes targeted “some of the positions of our armed forces in the vicinity of Deir ez-Zor.”
The state-run agency added that the attack wounded two soldiers and caused material damage.
On September 13, Israeli aircraft targeted with rockets posts of Syrian government forces in the vicinity of the city of Tartus, on the Syrian coast, killing two military personnel and injuring six others.
