SDF kills 4 SNA militants in Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – The Manbij Military Council (MMC), affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), announced on Wednesday the killing of four members of a Turkish-armed faction of the Syrian National Army (SNA) and the injury of others in an operation in the countryside of Manbij, northern Syria.

MMC stated in a statement on its official website that their forces carried out an operation against a Turkish-backed factions in the village of al-Sayyada in the northwestern of countryside of Manbij, resulting in the killing of four militants and the injury of three others.

The statement also included that this operation came in response to attacks by Turkish forces and its factions, and as part of its mission to counter the attacks.

“The militants were preparing to launch an attack on the positions of the MMC forces in the villages located on the frontline,” the statement reads.

On September 21, the SDF announced killing five militants of the Turkish-backed armed factions, in an operation in the countryside of Manbij, in retaliation to the recent drone attack that killed three fighters of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).
