Iraqi Army kills 3 ISIS militants

ERBIL, KRI, Iraq (North Press) – The Joint Operations Command in Iraq announced on Wednesday the killing of three militants of Islamic State (ISIS) in an airstrike carried out by F-16 aircraft in Saladin Governorate, central Iraq.

The Joint Operations Command said in a statement that the Air Force executed a “successful” strike using F-16 aircraft, targeting a terrorist cell.

As a result, three individuals were killed, and four hideouts and tunnels belonging to the group were destroyed in al-Aith area in Saladin.

The statement further emphasized that the targeted area is known for its challenging geographical features. It highlighted that the security forces are persistently pursuing the eradication of ISIS strongholds until their total elimination.
