HTS storms outpost of SNA’s Ahrar al-Sham in northern Idlib
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) stormed on Wednesday an outpost of Ahrar al-Sham, a faction affiliated with the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), in northern Idlib, and arrested five militants.
A source reported to North Press that the HTS stormed the outpost of Abu Ubayda al-Hamawi, affiliated with Ahrar al-Sham, in an area known as the camps of al-Bardighli, northern Idlib.
The operation resulted in arresting five militants including a group leader on charges of being involved in carrying out attacks against HTS’ outposts in the regions.
The source indicated that the arrestees were transferred to Base 106 in Sarmada town, northern Idlib, to be investigated. In response, the Ahrar al-Sham faction declared a state of alert and urged Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) to release the arrested individuals.
