Child injured in bomb blast in northern Hama
HAMA, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, a child was injured in a bomb blast caused by war remnants near the city of Suran in northern Hama, west-central Syria.
Local sources from the area told North Press that a bomb of war remnants exploded in a land in the al-Wasata area near the city of Suran, which is under the control of the Syrian government.
They added that the explosion injured 14-year-old child Muhammad Hafiz Abdurrahman while he was picking capers. He was taken to a health center in city of Suran, and his condition is stable.
The Syrian government took full control of northern Hama after a military operation that lasted for months in mid-2019. According to sources, no work have been carried out to remove war remnants since then.
