Turkish forces shell Syria’s Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces shelled on Sunday the northern countryside of Hasakah in northeast Syria with artillery.

A source told North Press that two artillery shells hit the village of Dada Abdal, north of Hasakah, with recording any losses.

Villages located on the frontlines in Tel Tamr and Zirgan undergo almost daily shelling by the Turkish forces and the opposition factions causing material damage and endangering civilians.

Zirgan, which is about 50 km north of the city of Hasakah, is located on the frontline between Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), and Tel Tamr Military Council, a military formation affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
