QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone strike hit on Wednesday the vicinity of a cement factory in the village of Shourik, around 5 km east of Qamishli city, northeast Syria.
A local source told North Press that the attack resulted in casualties, without providing further details.
A medical source at the al-Salam Hospital in Qamishli city said that an injured person, named Ahmad Saleh Abdullah, was delivered to the hospital.
The victim is an IDP from the city of Aleppo and resides in the town of al-Qahtaniyeh (Tirbe Spiye). His health condition was described as stable, according to the source.
The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) have not yet commented on the incident.
