Turkish border guards arrest 11 Syrian asylum seekers

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Turkish border guards apprehended on Monday 11 people, including three women while they were trying to cross the border into Turkey, west of Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria.

A security source from the town of Khirbat al-Jouz, northwest Idlib, said that the border guards apprehended the group while crossing the border on the vicinity of Khirbat al-Jouz.

No information about them till the moment, according to the source.

The border guards usually return those who illegally cross the border back, however, this time they did not, amid fears that the border guards may commit new violations against the Syrian asylum seekers, the source added.
