ISIS unveils weekly toll of operations in Syria, Iraq, Africa, Asia 

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, Islamic State (ISIS) disclosed weekly toll of operations it claimed in Syria, Iraq and areas in Africa and Asia.

The group said in a statement publicized by al-Naba online ISIS-linked newspaper that it conducted only one operation in Syria  in areas run by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), wounding one member in an attack on a car in al-Secher in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Al-Naba added that ISIS militants conducted six operations against the Iraqi army, two of which in Dijlah and one each in Saladin, Kirkuk, and al-Anbar. The group also targeted a patrol of the Iraqi army.

The operations carried out in Iraq resulted in the killing and wounding of 20 soldiers of the Iraqi army, according to the statement.

ISIS carried out 15 operations in West Africa, killing and wounding 70 people. Photos for the operations and the weapons confiscated were publicized on the website.

The group launched three operations in a province in Central Africa, killing and wounding ten people, according to the statement.

In Mozambique, the group claimed responsibility for one operation, killing one individual.

ISIS also claimed responsibility for an operation it carried out in East Asia, without revealing toll of victims, according to the statement.

Lately, ISIS’ activities and risk have record a significant increase despite the operations carried out by the US-led Global Coalition and its partner forces to defeat the group.
