Turkish-backed SNA shoots individual in Syria’s Aleppo countryside

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday afternoon, a young man was shot at by a militant of Hamza Division, a faction of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), in the city of al-Bab east of Aleppo amid ongoing security unrest in the opposition-held areas.

An exclusive source told North Press that the young man “Ammar al-Shawi” was shot at by a militant of the Hamza Division when he was inside his shop in al-Bab.

The source added that al-Shawi was hit in his foot, and he was transferred to a hospital in the city, while the militant fled amidst mobilization by the Military Police.

Areas held by the Turkish-backed SNA witness security chaos accompanied by killings and successive fighting among the factions themselves amid weapons proliferation and the factions’ inability to maintain security there.

Al-Bab city has been under the control of Turkey and its affiliated factions since 2017.
