Turkish forces shell Syria’s Qamishli western countryside
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Two shells fell on the western countryside of the town of Amuda west of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, a local source told North Press on Thursday.
The source added , “At about 02:00 pm on Thursday, two artillery shells were fired from the Turkish territory and fell near the village of Tobez in Amuda countryside.”
The shelling resulted in only material losses, according to the source.
On April 25, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that one of its fighters lost his life in a Turkish drone attack on his car in the countryside of Kobani, northern Syria.
