Four ISIS suspects arrested in Iraq
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Iraqi forces arrested on Sunday four Islamic State (ISIS) militants, including a leader in Nineveh Governorate in western Iraq.
Iraq’s Federal Intelligence Investigation Agency said in a statement that the “offices of the Federal Intelligence Investigation Agency of the Interior Ministry managed to carryout multiple missions in Nineveh Governorate that resulted in the arrest of four suspected ISIS members.”
The agency noted that these militants participated in “al-Ghazawat” (attacks against infidels) and used weapons against Iraqi security forces in the past years.”
The statement said that one of the suspects was moving into three governorates, Diyala, Kirkuk, and Nineveh, and was considered one of the dangerous leaders in the group.
