IED kills 3 Iranian-backed militants in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Three militants of the Iranian-backed Liwa Fatemiyoun militia were killed and two others were injured in an IED blast of Islamic State (ISIS) in a town west of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.

A military source of the Liwa Fatemiyoun said that an IED of ISIS exploded in a bus and a car near the outskirt of Tniter, in the town of Ayash, in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

The explosion resulted in the killing of three militants and the injury of two others, as the bus was carrying militants of the Liwa Fatemiyoun, according to the source.

On March 27, three militants of the Liwa Fatemiyoun were killed, and two others were injured by an IED attack against their vehicle in the eastern countryside of Homs, central Syria.
