More than 4.000 Syrians killed by earthquake in Turkey

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – More than 4.000 Syrian refugees were killed in Turkey by the devastating earthquakes that hit the country, Turkey’s Minister for Internal Affairs Suleyman Soylu said on Saturday.

The death toll in Turkey from the earthquakes has reached more than 45.968, Soylu added, speaking in the southern city of Antakya devastated by the earthquakes.

Soylu said that 4.267 ones of the people killed in Turkey were Syrian refugees.

The last batch of the bodies of the Syrian victims has arrived in Syria through the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey, containing over than 1.500 bodies.
