Two civilians injured by Turkish shelling in eastern Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – Two civilians were injured on Saturday by a Turkish shelling of two villages in the eastern countryside of Kobani, north Syria.

A local source told North Press that three mortar shells landed in the area between the villages of Koltep and Baghdik in eastern Kobani.

He added that the injured were taken to hospitals in Kobani city to receive treatment.

On February 16, 16-year-old Musa Mustafa Bagahnadi was injured by a bullet fired by the Turkish border guards while he was working in his father’s field in the village of Boban in western Kobani.
