3 residents killed in suspected ISIS attack in Hama
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Three residents died on Thursday in Salamiyeh, in the eastern countryside of Hama, in a reported Islamic State (ISIS) attack.
The Syrian state-run SANA news agency said that three bodies belonging to residents who had been killed in an ISIS attack while they were searching for desert truffles arrived at the Salamiyeh National Hospital.
In addition, six people were killed and 40 others were injured by a blast from an old ISIS mine today while they were searching for truffles in a town south of Deir ez-Zor Governorate.
In February 18, 56 people were killed in an ISIS attack in the eastern countryside of Homs as they were looking for truffles.
