3 buildings collapse in Aleppo city by new quake

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Three buildings have been partially collapsed in Bustan al-Basha neighborhood in the city of Aleppo by the quake hit Turkey’s Hatay Province this evening.

A local source told North Press, “Three buildings have been partially collapsed by the new quake in Bustan al-Basha neighborhood in the city of Aleppo.”

The source added two buildings were uninhabited while a third was accommodating a family. The balcony of the third building partially fell with no damage caused to the family that evacuated immediately.

The source noted the quake has caused a state of panic among people who evacuated buildings onto the streets.

A source within Aleppo University Hospital told North Press that 50 people were hospitalized, some injured owing to falling stones from cracked buildings while others  had panic attacks.
