Child injured by Turkish border guards in Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, a child was injured by a bullet fired by the Turkish border guards in the western countryside of the city of Kobani, north Syria.

Shaban Baki, a relative, told North Press that “Musa Mustafa Bagahnadi, 16, was pruning trees on his father’s field in the village of Boban when fired upon by the Turkish gendarmerie.”

Baki added, “The gendarmerie fired a number of bullets at the child who was hit in his leg.”

“Musa was taken to Kobani to receive treatment before returning to the village as his condition was stable,” the source noted.

On November 27, 2022, Mijdar Osse, 10, was injured by Turkish bullets in the eastern part of the city of Kobani as she as playing along with her friends.
