Five wounded in car bomb blast in Daraa city

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Two civilians and three soldiers of the Syrian government forces were injured on Thursday in a car bomb explosion on the road connecting between the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Mahata and al-Dahiya in Daraa city, northern Syria.

A local source told North Press, “Two civilians and three government soldiers were wounded as a result of the explosion.”

The source said, “The two civilians were hospitalized to the Daraa National Hospital while the soldiers, who serve with the Military Security Branch, were hospitalized to  the private hospital of al-Rahma in Daraa city.”

He added, “The soldiers are members of Mustafa al-Musalma group of the Military Security Branch.”

The explosion took place near the headquarters of the group, he said.

On Wednesday, six Syrian soldiers were injured after their military vehicle was targeted by an IED between the towns of al-Muzayrib and al-Yadouda in the western countryside of Daraa.
