DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, unknown attackers targeted a military vehicle of the Syrian government forces with an IED in western Daraa, injuring a number of soldiers as a result.
A local source told North Press, “A number of Syrian government members were injured after their military vehicle was targeted on the road between the town of al-Muzayrib and that of al-Yadouda in the western countryside of Daraa.”
The injured were rushed to Daraa National Hospital where they still receive treatment. Their condition was said to be critical, the source said.
The source added the injured members were of the government’s Internal Security Forces, and that they serve at al-Muzayrib.
