Residents find body of Syrian child in Turkey’s Gaziantep

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Residents of the city of Gaziantep, in southern Turkey, found on Tuesday the body of a Syrian girl on the outskirts of the city.

Turkish outlets said that the residents had found the body of the six-year-old child, Aya Najmi, in a remote area in Gaziantep.

Turkish police arrested the father of the child on charges of intentional homicide, according to the source.

The Turkish police have not provided any further details about the incident.

On January 19, four Kurds, including three women, were killed and another was injured in an armed attack in the city of Mardin, southeastern Turkey.

The victims are from Amedi, in the Duhok Governorate of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).
