Turkish Armored Vehicle Kills Two Men in Syria’s Afrin
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – Two young men who were run over by a Turkish armored vehicle died on Saturday night in the city of Afrin in northern Aleppo.
A local source told North Press that the Turkish armored vehicle ran over the two men as they rode a motorcycle near al-Mazot street west of the city.
He added that the so-called military police kept the incident quiet after taking the young men to Afrin Hospital, where they died.
The young men could not be identified and the bodies were taken to an unknown burial site.
The city of Afrin in north Aleppo has been under the control of opposition factions affiliated with Turkey since the latter occupied the region in March 2018.
