Drone targets Iranian defense factory in Isfahan
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A drone targeted on Sunday at down an Iranian defense factory in the city of Isfahan, central Iran, causing material damage to the facility.
Iranian Ministry of Defense has not mentioned yet who it suspects carried out the attack.
However, it is most likely that the attack was carried out by an Israeli drone, according to reports.
The Ministry said in a statement that three drones attacked the facility, as two of them were successfully shot down while the third succeeded to strike the plant, causing “minor damage” to its roof without any casualties.
Isfahan is a home to both a large air base built for its fleet of US-made F-14 fighter jets and its Nuclear Fuel Research and Production Center.
