Turkey deports dozens Syrians to Turkish-occupied areas

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) –  Turkish authorities deported on Friday 50 Syrians to areas held by Turkey and its affiliated armed Syrian opposition factions, also known as the Syrian National Amy (SNA), in northwest Syria.

An exclusive source told North Press, “Turkey has deported 50 Syrians, including children and women, through Bab al-Salameh border crossing near the city of Azaz north of Aleppo.”

The deportation took place after the Turkish authorities arrested the Syrians in several Turkish states and gathered them in temporary camps in preparation to deport them to the SNA-held areas north of Aleppo, according to the source.

It added that Turkey deports the Syrian refugees under pretext of not obtaining the temporary protection card (Kimlik) or not updating their data in immigration centers in the Turkish states.

On Jan. 24 at mid-night, Turkey deported 40 Syrian young men to Azaz under pretext of not updating their profiles, according to the same source.

Many reports reveal that Turkey carries out periodic deportations against Syrians under the pretexts of committing violations and lacking documentations, and it organizes reports to deport them.
