ISIS claims 3 attacks against SDF in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) –On Monday Islamic State Organization (ISIS) claimed responsibility for three operations against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the countryside of both Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa.
ISIS-run Amaq news agency said in a statement the group’s militants targeted with machine guns a military vehicle of the SDF on Ain Issa main road, 50 kilometers north of Raqqa, injuring two individuals and causing damage to the vehicle.
In another statement, Amaq said ISIS militants detonated an IED in a 4WD vehicle of the SDF near Hazima north of Raqqa.
ISIS, in the third statement, claimed responsibility for the third operation in Deir ez-Zor, saying ISIS militants targeted with machineguns an SDF checkpoint near the entrance of the town of al-Busira, 35 km east of Deir ez-Zor.
The attack caused injuries and damaged the vehicle, it added.
The group has launched three attacks against the SDF since 2023 as it continues its operations.
In 2022, the terrorist organization conducted 187 operations in the regions of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).
