Landmine blast claims lives of 4 people in Syria’s Hama

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Four people were killed on Wednesday as a result of a landmine explosion of the remnants of the Syrian war in the east of the district of Salamiyah in the countryside of Hama Governorate in central Syria. 

The state-run news agency SANA cited a source from the Police Department of Hama as saying “A landmine of the remnants of the terrorists exploded today in the agricultural lands of Tel Salama areas in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah.” 

The explosion led to the killing of four people, the source added. 

Occasionally, the areas which had battles among the conflicting parties in Syria are witnessing the explosion of mines which led to the killing of hundreds of people.  

Mines, explosive bombs, and unexploded ordnances were spread in the areas which witnessed battles among the conflicting parties in Syria.
