HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, a source from the US-led Global Coalition told North Press the Coalition’s forces targeted on Tuesday a leader of Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in the city of al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
On Tuesday, exclusive sources from al-Bab, a city under the control of Turkish forces and their affiliated armed Syrian opposition factions, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), told North Press the Us-led Global Coalition targeted “Abu Yasser al- Yemeni” an ISIS leader, who holds Yemeni citizenship.
The sources added that the attack resulted in the injury of al-Yemeni, and he was transferred to al-Bab Hospital in the city center amid heavy guard by SNA Military Police.
However, no information has been revealed about his condition.
A source of the Global Coalition informed North Press that the targeted ISIS leader operates in bombs making.
It added, “His killing will decrease ISIS attacks and increase safety of civilians.”

Since 2017, the city of al-Bab has been under the control of Turkish forces and the SNA.
