Turkish shelling targets village west of Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions shelled Thursday with a number of mortars a village in west of Manbij city, northern Syria.

A local source told North Press, “Turkish forces shelled with four mortars the village of al-Kawikli in the western countryside of Manbij.”

The source added that the Turkish forces hit the village from its outpost in the village of al-Sheikh Nasser.

Neither material nor human losses were recorded, according to the source.

On Wednesday, the Turkish forces shelled with mortars the village of Tokhar al-Kabir in the northern countryside of Manbij from the same outpost.
