ISIS claims targeting of SDF military vehicle in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Islamic State Organization (ISIS) claimed on Wednesday responsibility for targeting a military vehicle belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in a town west of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.

ISIS-run Amaq news agency publicized a statement in which it said the organization’s militants targeted, with machineguns, an SDF military vehicle nearby al-Hisan Roundabout, 5 kilometers west of Deir ez-Zor.

It added that the attack wounded three SDF fighters and damaged their vehicle.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for two operations in the SDF-held areas since an audio record by the group’s spokesman Abu Omar al-Muhajer, announcing the death of al-Hassan al-Hashimi was publicized.
