Asayish arrest 10 ISIS affiliates in Syria’s Der ez-Zor
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) arrested 10 operatives of the Islamic State (ISIS) in Deir ez-Zor.
The Asayish stated after monitoring moves of a cell, a group of ISIS were ambushed in the town of Abu Khashab, northwest of Deir ez-Zor.
It added ISIS cells intensified its moves in line with recent Turkish attacks on the region.
A large amount of ammunition and weapons in possession of ISIS militants was seized too.
