Syria’s Idlib records 8 new cholera cases
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Health institutions of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front) in northwest Syria announced onSunday the recording of eight new cholera cases.
Early Warning Alert and Response Network (EWARN) posted on its official social media accounts eight new infections of cholera in Aleppo countryside and Idlib areas.
The total toll of cholera infections in northwest Syria reached 408 and 12 deaths, according to the EWARN.
On September 26, the EWARN recorded the first cholera case in northwestern Syria.
