Drone targets car in northeast Syria, injures three people
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, a drone – said to be Turkish – targeted a car in the town of Amuda in the western countryside of Qamishli, northeast Syria.
The targeting damaged the car and injured three people who were inside.
A medical source told North Press that the injured are in stable condition.
Following the Turkish incursion “Peace Spring” of Sere Kaniye and Tel Abyad in October 2019, Turkey signed two ceasefire agreements, one with Russia and the other with the US stipulating ceasing all hostilities and the withdrawal of the SDF 32 km away from the Turkish border.
Recently, Turkish drone strikes against civilian and military personnel in northeast Syria have become very common occurrences.
Late in October, a Turkish drone hit a construction facility in the city of Qamishli killing two people.
