More than 304 people killed in Iran protests – rights organization
DAMSCUS, Syria (North Press) – Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, Director of Iran Human Rights, said on Saturday that the number of victims of the Iranian demonstrations went up to more than 304 protestors.
Moghaddam said in a statement via Tweeter, “304+ protesters including 41 minors and 24 women killed so far in Iran protests.”
“Yesterday in Baluchistan’s 2nd bloody Friday at least 16 protesters were killed,” he added.
Meanwhile in the city of Khash, southeast Iran, the security forces cracked down on protesters, killing more than 16 and injuring dozens.
The demonstrations are still ongoing in Iran for the second month at many Iranian cities and towns, following the death of young Kurdish women Mahsa Amini at the hands of morality police for not complying with the country’s dress code.
