20 people killed, wounded in tanker blast in Iraq’s Baghdad

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Eight people were killed while no less than 20 others were injured on Saturday in a fuel tanker explosion in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

Iraqi media reported that an explosion occurred this evening in a car garage in the area between Talbiyah and Qahira neighborhoods in eastern Baghdad.

Eight people were instantly killed, while about 20 others were taken to hospitals with injuries of varying severity.

The Iraqi Security Media Cell said that it started taking necessary measures to unveil the reason behind the blast.
