HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen shot dead on Thursday a man working in a civil institution affiliated with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) in Shaddadi town, south of Hasakah Governorate, northeast Syria.
A local source from the town told North Press, “Unknown attackers riding a motorcycle shot and killed Awad Buzan, a member of the Shaddadi Civil Council [affiliated with the AANES], while he was returning to his home in the western countryside of Shaddadi.”
After receiving several bullets in his body, he was taken to Shaddadi Hospital, but he died, the source added.
The source continued, “Buzan hails from the countryside of Aleppo, and lived in the village of Alous in Shaddadi countryside.”
On Tuesday, unidentified people threw a grenade at the Security Forces center in Shaddadi, without causing any casualties or material damage.
