Turkish shelling targets village in Syria’s Manbij
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and their affiliated opposition factions, also known as the Syrian national Army (SNA), shelled on Thursday the village of Arab Hassan in the northern countryside of Manbij, northern Syria.
Through its official website, the Manbij Military Council (MMC), affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said that the Turkish forces, stationed in its base near the village of Arab Hassan north of Manbij city, targeted the village with mortar shells.
The shelling is still ongoing and caused a state of fear and panic among the residents, the MMC added.
On October 10, Turkish forces and allied SNA targeted villages in north of Manbij with artillery shells.
