Turkish-backed militants injured in fighting north of Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday evening, two militants of the Turkish-backed Ahrar al-Sham faction were wounded in fierce clashes with Military Police faction in the village of Kafr Kalbin east of the city of Azaz, north of Aleppo.
An exclusive source told North Press fierce clashes erupted between the two factions on the back of indiscriminate firing by militants of the Military Police on a car belonging to Ahrar al-Sham in Kafr Kalbin, resulting in the injury of two militants of the latter faction.
The two wounded militants were transferred to Azaz Hospital, as the two parties continued the clashes for over an hour, according to the source.
The source added a state of panic and fear spread among residents in the village due to the clashes.
Since July 2012, the city of Azaz and its countryside have been under the control of the Turkish-backed factions, known as Syrian National Army (SNA).
Areas held by Turkish forces and their affiliated SNA factions, witness security chaos, including arrests, kidnappings, thefts, successive murders and fighting among the factions themselves in light of their disability to maintain security.
