KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – Four persons from Kobani, northern Syria, lost their lives on Tuesday during a boat trip carrying refugees from the city of Oran, northwestern Algeria heading to Spain.
A refugee from Kobani, who is in Oran told North Press in a phone call, that the boat was small and carried about 15 refugees, mostly Africans and Syrians, including four from Kobani.
He added that the boat broke down after its departure from the city of Oran to Spain, all the passengers on the boat drowned, according to the information that I had.
Four boats headed to Spain on Tuesday evening, one of which drowned and two others arrived in Spain, while one boat’s fate remains unknown, according to the source.
