SDF arrests ISIS weapon supplier in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Sunday that the SDF Counter-terrorism Units had arrested a member of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in a town east of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, eastern Syria.
The SDF Media Center said the arrested ISIS operative was distributing weapons to the organization’s cells in the region.
The units captured the ISIS member on September 30 in the town of al-Sabha, 30 km east of Deir ez-Zor, the SDF added.
The Media Center also attached with their statement a video showing the process.
On September 26, the SDF Media Center said their forces managed to arrest four ISIS members in Raqqa, northern Syria.
