Syrian government areas record 5 new COVID-19 cases
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government announced on Saturday recording five new coronavirus infections in its areas.
The official Facebook account of the ministry reported 13 recoveries of cases previously recorded.
All new infections were recorded in Suwayda Governorate, said the ministry’s office.
The number of coronavirus infections in the areas-held by the Syrian government has reached 57,307 confirmed cases, including 3163 deaths, and 54,099 cases of recovery.
