Kobani’s Autonomous Administration condemns Turkish drone strike

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in Kobani, northern Syria, condemned on Monday a drone strike against its offices causing material damage.

On Monday morning, a drone strike, allegedly Turkish, hit the headquarters of the Autonomous Administration in the city of Kobani.

In a statement, the Executive Council said the Turkish state “continues its terrorist acts in Syria in general and in northeast Syria in particular.”

“Turkey seeks to strike the stability and security in the region,” it added.

For the second week in a row, the Turkish forces have increased their shelling of the border areas in the west and east of Kobani.

On September 20, Turkish artillery targeted a Syrian government post located between the villages of Jishan and Qaramogh 20 km east of Kobani.
