Turkish forces shell village in Aleppo northern countryside
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, Turkish forces and their armed Syrian opposition factions targeted the outskirts of a village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, north Syria.
An exclusive source told North Press Turkish artillery shelled a forest in the village of Soghana, affiliated with Sherawa district, in the countryside of Afrin, a city north of Aleppo, with mortars.
The source went further, saying that the losses were limited to material.
The Turkish forces and the opposition factions, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), continue to shell Aleppo northern countryside periodically.
On September 22, the Turkish forces and their affiliated SNA factions fired 27 shells on agrarian lands in the village of Ibbin in Sherawa district, causing material damages.
