Syrian government areas record 9 new coronavirus infections
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government announced on Tuesday evening the recording of nine new coronavirus infections in its held areas.
The official Facebook account of the ministry reported 11 new recoveries.
The new infections are recorded as follows: three in Damascus, two in Hasakah, two in Tartus, and one each in Aleppo and Hama.
The total number of coronavirus infections in the Syrian government-held areas has reached 57.236 confirmed cases, including 3.163 deaths and 54.003 recoveries.
