Individual killed, another wounded in Syria’s Daraa countryside

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, unidentified armed men shot dead and individual and wounded another in a town in the western countryside of Daraa, a governorate south Syria.

A local source told North Press unidentified attackers, who were riding motorcycles, fired directly on two young men near al-Dalafin roundabout south of the town of Muzayrib in Daraa western countryside.

As a result, Adnan Izzat al-Beriqi was killed and Samir al-Barhomi was wounded.

Al-Beriqi and al-Barhomi were transferred to the National Hospital in the town of Tafas in the western countryside of Daraa where al-Beriqi succumbed to his injuries, according to the source.

Al-Beriqi was a garment trader and a civilian, who had not joint any military or security formations since eruption of the Syrian war in 2011.

On Monday, unidentified gunmen targeted the car of Major Amjad Ibrahim with an IED, wounding him on al-Majbil road, east of the town Of Mhajjah, east of Daraa.
