Heavy Turkish shelling targets villages in Syria’s Ain Issa
AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, known as Syrian National Army (SNA), targeted on Sunday villages of the countryside of Ain Issa town, north of Raqqa Governorate in northern Syria.
A military source told North Press that the shelling targeted the villages of al-Fatsah, al-Mushayrfa and al-Jahbalin the eastern countryside of Ain Issa.
No information has been provided about the size of the damages.
Border areas in north and northeast Syria have been heavily bombed by Turkish forces since the early morning.
On September 14, the Turkish forces and the SNA factions targeted the countryside of Ain Issa with heavy weapons and shells.
The shelling targeted the silos, which are one kilometer away from Ain Issa, with five shells.
The town of Ain Issa, western and eastern villages, and other areas of northern Syria are under constant shelling by Turkish forces and SNA factions.
