Turkish shelling affects Syriac village in Syria’s Qamishli
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Turkish forces expanded its shelling on the border areas in northeast Syria, where Syriac villages in the east of Qamishli city and others in the west were targeted.
The village of Rotana, some 15 km east of Qamishli was shelled with four mortars, according to an exclusive source.
Material damages were caused, according to the source.
Also, the Turkish forces shelled the village of Tel Ziwan in the east and the two villages of Himo and Herem Sheikh in the west with two mortar shells.
Since the very early hours of the day a number of areas in northeast Syria have intensively been shelled by the Turkish forces.
