Syrian government-held areas record 14 new coronavirus cases

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Ministry of Health of Syrian government announced on Sunday evening  the recording of 14 new coronavirus infections in its held areas.

The official Facebook account of the ministry reported 35 recoveries. 

The new infections were recorded as follows: four in Rif Dimashq, three in Tartus, two each in Damascus and Homs, and one each in Hasakah, Hama and Latakia.

The total number of coronavirus infections in the Syrian government-controlled areas has reached 57.166 confirmed cases, including 3.163 deaths and 53.868 recoveries.
