AANES records 26 coronavirus infections in NE Syria
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) recorded on Saturday 26 new infections of coronavirus.
The Health Board posted on its official Facebook account that the infections are 18 males and eight females.
The infections are distributed as follows: eight each in Damascus and Hasakah, six in Derik (al-Malikiyah), two each in Darbasiyah and Arisha camp.
An official at Covid-19 (Jiyan) Hospital announced the state of alert due to the increasing numbers of coronavirus infections.
The total number of coronavirus infections in the AANES-held areas reached 39.157 confirmed cases, 1.578 deaths and 2.577 recovery cases.
