ISIS claims targeting SDF vehicle in Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria ( North Press) – The Islamic State Organization (ISIS) claimed on Tuesday that it targeted a vehicle of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in a town in the eastern countryside of Raqqa in northern Syria.
ISIS-run Amaq news agency said that ISIS militants blew up an IED in a military four-wheeled vehicle belonging to the SDF close to the town of al-Karamah, east of Raqqa.
“One SDF fighter was killed and four others on board were injured,” Amaq claimed.
The SDF has not made any commentary yet.
Although the SDF launches intensive security operations to pursue ISIS sleeper cells, the latter has intensified its attacks in the region.
